Sharp has two new Big Pad Interactive Displays. The 70” PN-70SC5 and 80” PN-80SC5 include ‘Freeze Frame’ and ‘Blackout’ buttons on the bezel to give a presenter the ability to instantly freeze or blank the display while they work on their connected device, or prepare the content that they will show next.
The displays use direct optical bonding and 10 point infrared touch and Sharp said that the units have the ‘Pen-on-Paper’ surface and AR and AG coatings. They both have FullHD displays with 350 cd/m² of output and 4,000:1 contrast. Response time is 8ms. Audio is 10W + 10W and connectivity is HDMI, DVI-D and DVI-I as well as DisplayPort, SDI, HDSDI, VGA and component, composite and S-video.
