Sharp said that 2017 4K Ultra HD Smart Aquos and Full HD TVs are now available in retail stores in the US. The new Sharp P8000 and P7000 series are positioned to be the most popular Aquos TVs of 2017, featuring a breadth of industry-leading features, including HDR, UltraHD Upscaling, Smart TV Apps with Web Browser, and high frame rate processing designed for detailed motion enhancement.
The Sharp P7000 brings HDR to slim, super-thin panels while featuring direct-lit LED backlighting and UltraHD Upscaling. The 43″, 50″ and 55″ models are now available, with a 65″ arriving in September 2017.
The Sharp P5000 is now available with Full HD, dbx-tv audio technology, and Sharp’s Smart TV with Apps and Web Browser on 32″, 40″, 43″, 50″, and 55″ sets ranging in prices from $229.99 and $529.99.
Sharp supports Netflix, Amazon Video and YouTube in UltraHD. Additionally, HDMI inputs 3 and 4 are equipped with UltraHD HDMI 2.0a specifications allowing UltraHD and HDR content to play in its intended form.
