SES-imagotag, the specialist in electronic shelf labels (ESLs), is to buy Pervasive Displays (PDi) of Taiwan, subject to customary approvals. It will pay in shares and cash, with a two year ‘earn out’. PDi is a design house of e-paper display modules. The companies have been working together for around six years.
Separately, SES-imagotag has taken a stake in German start-up Findbox, which has technology for helping staff and customers to find content in retail stores, with a view to extending this to 100% of ownership over three years.
