During his keynote speech at Finetech Japan, Samsung Display EVP Kim Sung-chul said that the company is actively working on large AMOLEDs for various applications.
Kim said that SDC will broaden its customer base by developing flexible models for use in mobile devices; notebooks; monitors; and TVs. The firm will also seek to produce high-resolution panels for AR and VR; panels with different shapes, for automotive use; and panels with high reflectivity and transparency, for public displays.
