Samsung has won its long running patent battle with Apple over the design of its smartphones. The US Supreme Court said that Samsung did not have to pay its “total profits” as the patent breaches only represented a small part of the products. The case is not quite over, as it has to go back to a lower court for the amount of damages to be decided.
