What They Say
Quoting the Korean IT Home as source, Patently Apple reported that Samsung Display’s CEO, Joo-Sun Choi has met with Apple CEO Tim Cook and asked him not to reduce the firm’s commitment to buy OLEDs. From an initial plan for 220 million iPhones in 2022, with 160 million from Samsung, Apple is reported to have dropped its plan to 185 million, down 15.9%. Samsung Display is said to be considering using a legal strategy based on its patents to make life difficult for competitors.
