A Korean blog has said that Samsung has decided to invest in Cynora of Germany. The Investor puts the level of investment at €100 million.
Analyst Comment
We recently reported that both Korean panel makers were looking at an investment in Cynora, but at a level that is ten times smaller than this report. We assume that the Investor got its decimal point in the wrong place. (LG and Samsung to Support Cynora Blue OLED Emitter). Of course, the company would not comment, even to clarify on amounts. However, we still would expect a smaller level of investment than the report said, at around €10 million. LG Display made a €15 million investment last month, according to ETNews.
