The Elec reports that Samsung System LSI is developing three TCons for QD-OLED displays that Samsung Display is planning to launch for:
- a 4K QD-OLED TV,
- a 8K QD-OLED TV and
- a QD-OLED monitor
The paper reported that Samsung Display is sending final samples of QD-OLED panels to prospective customers this month. After review in September, the paper suggests that production will start in November.

I liked the roadmap below which was presented by Jason Hartlove of Nanosys at the DSCC/SID Business Conference. Unsurprisingly, he doesn’t see much future for anything that doesn’t include his QDs! It’s a case of MRDA (VR/AR Webinars by Kopin) ((BR)
