Samsung has halted pre-orders in the US for its 11″ Galaxy Tab S8 and 14.6″ Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra which have been listed as unavailable due to “overwhelming demand in the last 48 hours.”
What We Think
I had a look at the UK site and found that pre-orders are still available for all three models, so it looks as though Samsung US may have misjudged the initial demand level. I have been a big fan of OLED-based tablets and the Ultra must be an impressive beast, but I confess to being hooked on my iPad Pro 12.9 which is getting more and more use from me. I’ve just ordered the Magic Keyboard to go with it and it will be interesting to see how the unit is for that application. (BR)
