Samsung’s Notebooks Have Two Grades of OLED

What They Say

Samsung has two new Galaxy Book devices, the Galaxy Book Pro (a clamshell notebook) and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 (a touchscreen convertible), the first Windows PCs it has introduced with OLED displays. Both devices are available with 15.6″ or 13.3″ FullHD displays. The clamshell Pro uses an AMOLED, while the 360 version has a Super AMOLED (which has integrated touch, so, presumably, Y-OCTA’ technology) They can be used with the latest S Pen.

CPUs are from Intel and there is an Nvidia option on the Pro.

The Pro 13 starts at just 1.92 pounds (0.87 kg). The Pro 360 models are a bit heavier, starting at 2.29 pounds (1.04kg)

What We Think

Although Samsung said that the displays can show P3 content, gamut coverage was not specified. (BR)
