What They Say
We’ve reported a couple of times on the new Samsung Neo G9 gaming monitor (Samsung Unveils the Future of Gaming With the Odyssey Neo G9 & Samsung to Introduce New MiniLED Gaming Monitor). It will be available to pre-order on 29th July in the US, with pricing at $2,499.
Later…. I spotted this infographic showing the differences between the original G9 and the Neo G9
What We Think
That’s a high price for a gaming monitor, but the specification is very impressive for the 49″ 32:9 monitor. I have long been a fan of the 2560 x 1440 27″ format and the curved monitor is the same as two of those. Given the 2,000 cd/m² peak brightness and up to 240Hz support, it should be an amazing and engaging gaming experience. My PC couldn’t drive that level of performance, so I doubt I’ll try to review it (BR)
