APG|SGA and Samsung said that they are testing the OH85F 85″ display from Samsung in the city of Zurich in Switzerland. A display has been installed between the “Sihlcity” and “Brunaupark” shopping malls at a public transport site. The display has output of 2,500 cd/m² and is vandal proof as well as being rated from -30ºC to +50ºC. The test is said to be the first installation of the unit in Europe.
The initial test phase is planned to last for three months, when the display will show material from the Zurich main station. Technical as well as user feedback will be sought.
