Samsung and Nagra have co-developed a USB dongle that can be used to allow access to Pay TV on Samsung sets equipped with USB connectors. The TVKey system allows protection even of 4K and HDR content, enabling new Pay TV services. After an initial launch on Samsung sets, the companies plan to offer the solution for sets from other TV brands in 2017.
