Samsung has killed a project to transform TV remotes by developing a device based on a tablet, using staff and technology acquired with Boxee, according to Variety.
Variety reports that a group based on staff that joined the company with the Boxee acquisition were joined by additional developers in an attempt to create “Perfect Experience,” or PX, on Samsung TVs. However, according to the trade journal, the staff have been let go and the project closed. Samsung would not confirm the report.
