Samsung released new Galaxy Book2 Business and Pro model notebooks at MWC. The Book2 Pro 360 is a convertible that uses a 15.6″ or 13.3″ FullHD display. You can see the infrographic here with the full specification. Features include S-Pen support.
The Pro model has the same display options and is ‘secured-core PC-certified’. It is available with integrated 5G. The infographic is here.
What We Think
These look like reasonable notebooks, but the display options are quite limited and the specifications really look like ‘me too’, except, perhaps for the standard use of OLED displays.
Much is being made of the security features, but I was taken back to my days with early Apples. The user group that I was involved with included some members that, outside the group, used their knowledge to crack games etc. At a meeting, someone was showing a new game that he boasted was ‘uncrackable’. “Oh”, I said, “Why did you have to say that?”. I think it took the crackers around 30 minutes to break the security! So I worry when someone brags about their security that it will just attract those that want to break it! (BR)
