According to Hangkyung News of Korea, Samsung is planning to close down more of its LCD manufacturing lines, replacing them with OLED facilities. Specifically, the source names Samsung’s L7 plant in Asan, S.Korea. This would be the sixth such plant to be retooled to manufacture OLED displays. Hangkyung says that LCD manufacture will cease on the 30th July.
