Samsung confirms ‘more accessible’ foldables are in the works for 2021

What They Say

Samsung said in a blog post that it plans to expand the use of the S-Pen, used in the Galaxy Note devices, and also the range of foldable phones that are expected in 2021. As many as four devices may be available, two based on the Z Fold and two based on the Z Flip.

There have been widespread reports that Samsung will not have Note units next year, so although there may be support for the S-Pen, users will have to find ways to keep them easy to get at when needed.

What We Think

I have a Note 9 and occasionally use the S-Pen. The reality is that as a touch stylus, the human finger is not very efficient as it is not very precise and blocks the view of where it is touching, although, of course the touch feedback is very useful! (BR)
