SamMobile has uncovered information pointing to a large new tablet from Samsung, code-named Tahoe. The SM-T670 is an 18.4″ Android 5.0-based device, with an LCD display, 1920 x 1080 resolution and an octa-core, 64-bit, 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 processor. There will be 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot and a 5,700mAh battery.
The largest tablet in existence today is Panasonic’s 20″ Toughpad, although that is an UltraHD model for professional users. It is likely that Samsung would aim at a similar (although cheaper) segment with its Tahoe tablet. (TA)
