Announced at Samsung Unpacked 2018 last week, Samsung is entering into a long-term partnership with Spotify to create a seamless cross-device listening experience for its users.
The music platform will be integrated into Samsung’s smart product range — including the newly announced Galaxy Home smart speaker, as well as the company’s range of smartphones, smart TVs and smart home appliances — via the SmartThings app.
Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby will also search Spotify when users request a song.
Samsung’s Galaxy Home Speaker was revealed at the Unpacked event.
