Samba TV released three reports on the ‘State of Viewership’ in TV in the US, the UK and Germany and in Australia. The reports look at the reach and impressions of different kinds advertising and the impact of streaming on advertising. For example, in the chart below, the firm shows that although there has been more advertising on linear TV in the US, the reach of this advertising has not increased. In the US, the firm found that 97% of linear impressions reached just half of linear TV viewers.

The report also looks at the biggest advertisers, streaming viewing and the impact of sports broadcasting.
