I saw sad news today that PR specialist, Stacey Voorhees-Harmon had died as a result of the Alzheimer’s disesase that she had been suffering from for some time. She worked as a PR in the display industry for MCA Public Relations and LG Philipls LCD before setting up her own consultancy as Savvy PR and working with a lot of firms in the display industry including 3M’s Optical Systems Division, 3M Electronics Solutions Division, Pixelworks, DisplaySearch, InFocus, LG Display, UniPixel, the LCD TV Association, Lam Research (in conjunction with Strategia Marketing), The FlexTech Alliance, as well as the Society of Information Displays (SID) in conjunction with MCA Public Relations.
What We Think
Stacey’s positive approach and great smile meant that it was always a pleasure to see her in attendance at a trade show. I know she will be missed by the family that she cared so much about. (BR)
