Axiomtek has a new 17″ All-in-One that has a 1280 x 1024 LCD panel with a brightness of 350 cd/m² and touch. The front panel can be protected to IP65 as an option. The PC has 7th Generation Intel Core, Celeron and Pentium options and supports up to 32GB of RAM. External displays can be supported via DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 or VGA. A range of optional input modules are available and the units can run from 12, 19 or 24V, or with the firm’s own 19V PSU.

The design has passive cooling fins and runs without a fan.

Roku has said that the Streaming Stick+ which was released in the US at the end of 2017, will now be released in Canada (Roku Updates Range with Another UHD Product). The suggested retail price will be CAD 89,99 and will be available in May.

Vestel, which currently licenses the Toshiba brand for TVs in Europe (although Hisense is taking the brand licence over as part of a global deal), has launched its 2018 TVs and will have 18 UltraHD models including two OLEDs. All support HDR in the form of Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG and can respond to voice controls through the Amazon Echo or Dot. Other features include audio ‘tuned by Onkyo’ and with DTS TruSurround HD.

There are 49″ and 55″ U78 LCD displays with 99% of DCI-P3 support, matching the X98 55″ and 65″ OLEDs. They also have XSoundPlus front-firing speakers The U68 range will be in 43″, 49″, 50″, 55″ and 65″ and they have XSound Pro audio with larger speakers and internal subwoofers, which are shared with the OLEDs.

The U58 range is in 43″, 49″, 50″, 55″ and 65″ and the T68 range has XSound Plus and is in 43″, 49″ and 55″.

In smaller sizes, there are FullHD sets from 24″ to 49″ and HD Ready sets in 24″, 28″ and 32″,

Pricing is due to be released shortly, although the OLEDs cost £1,600 (55″) and £3,200 (65″).
