Display and IC supplier Parade Technologies Ltd. reported Q2 net profits of TWD270.7 million ($8.8 million), down from TWD277.8 million ($9.2 million) in the year-ago quarter, on revenue of TWD1.52 billion ($49.3 million), up from TWD1.41 billion ($46.8 million). For the six months there were profits of TWD525.9 million ($16.9 million), a reduction from TWD535.4 million ($17.7 million), on turnover which rose to TWD3.04 billion ($97.5 million) from TWD2.76 billion ($91.4 million). The company said that it remained cautious as it does not expect Q3 sales to be as good as in previous years. “We have observed a large gap between demand forecasts made by our panel and systems clients, with panel makers being the most conservative”, commented chief executive Jack Zhao.
