Coretronic Result 31/07/15

Coretronic posted Q2 net profits of TWD317 million ($10.0 million), down from TWD851 million ($26.9 million) a year earlier, on revenue which fell 19.5% to TWD16.9 billion ($536 million) from TWD21.0 billion ($666 million). For the first half there were profits of TWD607 million ($19.2 million), compared to TWD1.3 billion ($42.0 million), on turnover of TWD32.7 billion ($1.0 billion), down from TWD40.1 billion ($1.3 billion). Q2 shipments for TV applications were up 31%, those for tablet applications rose 15% and those for notebook products increased 8%, bringing total shipments to 19.57 million, up 6% QoQ. Overall shipments for the six months reached 38.06 million, down 12% YoY.
