AUO‘s revenues slipped 2.3% MoM and 2% YoY, to NT$26.8 billion ($865 million). The firm shipped more than 9 million large (10″+) panels, down 9.9% MoM, and 12.8% million small-to-medium-size panels, down 8.5% MoM.
CPT generated NT$3.2 billion ($103.3 million), down 0.17% MoM and 9.7% YoY. January-July revenues were down 20.9% YoY to NT$22.3 billion ($719.7 million). CPT’s subsidiary, Giantplus (which makes panels and display modules), generated NT$933 million ($30.1 million) in June (up 1.2% MoM and 2% YoY) and NT$6.6 billion ($213 million) in January-July (up 5.4% YoY).
In July, CPT shipped 35.4 million small-to-medium-size panels, up 9.1% MoM and 17.8% YoY. Large-size panel shipments reached 67,000, growing 45.8% MoM but down 32.1% YoY.
Foxconn‘s performance was below market expectations, with revenues falling to NT$293 billion ($9.4 billion): down 3.9% MoM and 6.2% YoY. Accumulated revenues through July stood at NT$2.2 trillion ($70.3 billion), down 5.5% YoY.
Foxconn said that revenues from productions for consumer electronics and communication equipment was steady, but PC products were relatively weak. The company expects a positive Q3, as shipments usually pick up in August/September.
Revenue was up 30.7% MoM and 30% YoY at Hannstar, to NT$1.8 billion ($58.1 million). January-July revenue was down 12.7% YoY, to NT$9.4 billion ($303.4 million). The firm shipped 27.2 million small-to-medium-size (up 22.3% MoM) and 129,000 large-size panels (up 42.4%).
Innolux‘s revenues were down 2.3% MoM and 23% YoY, to NT$22.8 billion ($736 million). The firm shipped 9.5 million large-size panels (down 0.5% MoM) and 20.9 million small-to-medium-size panels (up 15.9% MoM).
