Report: Netflix Offers $300 Million in Regency Takeover Bid

Netflix has entered a bidding war for Los Angeles-based billboard advertising company Regency Outdoor Advertising, according to Reuters. Citing “people familiar with the matter”, the publication revealed that Netflix has offered $300 million in its acquisition attempt but is one of several bidders vying to take over the company, which owns billboards on the Sunset Strip and at LA International Airport, among other high-profile locations, such as major freeways. Netflix declined to comment on the acquisition rumours, while Regency Outdoor Advertising were unavailable.
