Renesas to resume full production next month

Nikkei reports that Renesas said that it had now made a “cautious restart to output” at its factory in Naka, Japan, that had been damaged by a fire in March. Renesas Fire Adds to Chip Woes

It has started at around 10% capacity. Renesas aims to expand production capacity to 30% this week, 50% this month, and 100% in May.

The company said that it had got great support from outside suppliers and that it could make 98% of the chips made at Naka in other places, up from 90%
