Renesas Electronics Result 13/05/2015

Renesas Electronics has released its fourth quarter and full year results, posting a net profit for the year of ¥82.4 billion ($690.8 million), having recorded a net loss in the previous year of ¥5.3 billion ($44.4 million). Turnover for the year dropped to ¥791.1 billion ($6.6 billion) from ¥833 billion ($6.9 billion). In the final quarter of the year, the company posted a net profit of ¥9 billion ($75.4 million) on turnover of ¥182.2 billion ($1.5 billion), which compares with a net loss in Q4 of the previous year of ¥15.5 billion ($129.9 million) on turnover of ¥200.5 billion ($1.7 billion).
