Radiant Opto-Electronic saw sales in August rise 48.3% sequentially and 33% year on year to NT$5.1 billion ($157.4 million), bringing sales to date to NT$27.3 billion ($842.8 million), down 13.6% compared with the same period of last year.
Coretronic fared less well in August, reporting a 17% YoY drop in sales to NT$6.1 billion ($188.3 million), though this was 9.8% higher than July 2015. Coretronic’s sales to date were also lower YoY, falling 18.8% to NT$44.5 billion ($1.3 billion).
