Mediatek’s August performance was better than July, with sales rising 6.1% to NT$19 billion ($586.5 million), though this was down 3.3% year on year. Sales for January to August were down 5.4% from the same period of 2014 at NT$131.5 billion ($4 billion). The company is expecting sales in the third quarter to grow 10-18% sequentially to NT$52-55 billion ($1.6-1.7 billion).
