The PSCo division of Midwich has signed an exclusive distribution deal for its laser-based installation projectors for the UK. PSCo runs a rental business and will invest in inventory for that use as well as for its evaluation programme to trade customers.
Stuart Holmes, director of PSCo, said, “The decision to choose Epson as our projection partner was taken after a thorough evaluation of the marketplace. We felt their range of projectors and the associated lens options was simply unbeatable from a brightness (up to 25,000 lumens), quality and cost perspective which makes the range suitable for both fixed installation and rental applications”.
Under another new deal, separately, Midwich will be responsible for distributing Smart’s entire AV product portfolio, including the 4000 and 6000 series IFPs, SMART Notebook, Kapp and Kapp iQ. The agreement also includes software and follows a deal that Smart made with Westcon.
