Acer’s S1385WHne professional DLP projector can throw images from short distances. Presenters can use a pen input using Acer’s Smart Pen – from up to 9.7m from the screen – and the unit can be controlled through LAN using Crestron.
The projector is 3D-ready and can show images at 24fps, with a 144Hz refresh rate. Resolution is 1280 x 800. A 200W lamp (providing up to 3,200 lumens) will last for between 4,000 and 10,000 hours.
47″ – 300″ images can be thrown from 0.5m – 3.2m (0.49:1 throw ratio). The projector supports 10-bit colour and has a 2x digital zoom and +/-40° vertical keystone correction.
HDMI, MHL-HDMI, composite, S-Video, USB and RJ45 ports are featured, and dual 10W speakers are built in. Acer’s wireless adapter is also compatible with the S1385WHne, enabling wireless projection.
The projector weighs 2.4kg and is available now, for $750.
