PMA Research has announced the top-selling projectors in the USA in December. The company divides the results into three categories: ‘pico and personal’, ‘mainstream’ and ‘high-end’.
Optoma book-ended the pico and personal category with the ML750 (first) and ML550 (fifth). Asus’ S1 took second place and Aaxa’s P4-X and P300 Pico appeared in third and fourth.
The mainstream sector was ruled by Epson, with the Powerlite 97. Infocus’ ever-popular IN112a came in second and Viewsonic’s PJD5132 in third. Boxlight and Sony rounded out the category, with the Eco X27NST and VPL-HW40ES/B.
Epson also took the top spot in the high-end sector, with the Powerlite 1985WU in first place; the Powerlite Pro G6450WU was also placed in fourth. Sony came second with the VPL-FHZ555W, Optoma’s EH501 came third and Hitachi finished the category with the CP-X5022WN.
