Planar Systems has closed its sale to Leyard American Corporation, a subsidiary of China’s Leyard Optoelectronic Co (Planar to be Acquired by Leyard). The companies had entered into a definitive merger agreement, under the terms of which Planar was valued at $6.58 per share.
