Pixelworks’ X7 visual processor is in the newly launched Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone by Xiaomi. The smartphone uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ platform and features a 1.5K narrow-frame straight screen with a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming for eye protection.
Pixelworks’ X7 has its own ultra-low latency MotionEngine (MEMC) tech to enhance gaming performance with motion compensation, low power super-resolution mode, and always-on HDR for color and contrast. There are also specific optimizations for popular games like Glory of the King, Game for Peace, and Genshin Impact to improve picture quality while managing power consumption effectively.
In terms of video display optimization, the X7 reduces jitter and blurring in higher frame rate videos seamlessly. The features are adapted for mainstream video apps in China like Tencent Video, iQiyi, Youku, Bilibili, and Xigua Video.
