We spotted a couple of interesting videos posted on Youtube by PanelSemi, the miniLED specialist, that show some curved displays. One is in an overhead application and is designed to help provide an immersive experience in a VR experience, while the other shows a column display configured to appear to be a virtual person. It is also shown in another video imitating a glass of beer.
What We Think
As far as I can understand it, the firm is making both direct miniLED displays that can be tiled and backlights. An article from the China times, linked from the firm’s website, suggests that Innolux is an investor in the firm. (BR)
