Panasonic has launched an new range of FullHD digital signage displays, the SF2 range, which will replace the LF8 range and is rated for 24/7 operation with brightness of 450 cd/m² from the edge-lit IPS LCD panels. There are four sizes of 43″, 49″, 55″ and 65″ and landscape and portrait modes are supported as well as 45º installations. Bezels are 9.5mm on three sides and 15.5mm on the bottom.
Features include a failover and fallback function and remote management of up to 2048 displays from a single PC. There is an integrated USB media player and the 65″ version includes a DisplayLink (which Panasonic calls Digital Link) port. There are dual 10W speakers.
Inputs are HDMI, DVI-D and VGA
Panasonic’s new displays have failover in case of an input failing.
