Panasonic in Europe is upgrading its warranty for its professional displays from a return to base to an advanced swap service. The new warranty is offered for all professional displays sold from February 2017. It will allow customers to continue using Panasonic display technology with a replacement unit, permanently substituting the faulty unit within approximately 2 business days.
“Customers will need to register their unit, and submit a repair order either online, via phone or email,” said Donald Maidment, Head of Service for Panasonic. “Advanced swap warranty will become our default, but we will maintain the option of a return to base warranty, for those customers for whom that is more appropriate.”
