Over Christmas, HDTVTest’s Vincent Teoh reported that ValueElectronics.com of Scarsdale, New York in the US has done a deal with Panasonic to allow the company to supply a limited number of professional OLED sets to consumers and to support the warranty. The sets are the 55″ & 65″ GZ1000U ($3650/$4450) and the 55″ FZ1000U ($2750).
What We Think
Panasonic dropped out of the US TV market several years ago. Panasonic continued to supply them to colourists and content creation professionals, but had not previously released them for consumers. (BR)
