Panasonic has announced its return to the US market with a new lineup of OLED and MiniLED TVs after a decade-long absence. The models, ranging from 55 to 85 inches, are now available for pre-order through retailers like Amazon and Costco.com.
The Z95A OLED TV is Panasonic’s flagship model, available only in a 65-inch size for $3,199.99. It features an OLED panel from LG, with Panasonic’s Micro Lens Array (MLA) and multi-layer heat management. It supports refresh rates up to 144Hz and multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10 Plus, and HDR10 Plus Adaptive. The Z95A also integrates sound technology from Panasonic’s Technics brand, featuring forward, upward, and side-firing speakers, as well as a built-in subwoofer.
The Z85A OLED TV is a more affordable option, available in 55-inch ($1,599.99) and 65-inch ($1,799.99) sizes. It offers the same HDR modes and 4K resolution as the Z95A but lacks the flagship model’s MLA and Technics-tuned audio system. It also has a lower refresh rate of 120Hz and a simpler speaker setup, with stereo speakers and a single subwoofer. Unlike the Z95A, the Z85A does not include an always-listening microphone for Alexa.
The W95A Mini LED TV is available in four sizes: 55 inches ($1,299.99), 65 inches, 75 inches, and a massive 85-inch model ($2,999.99). It supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and includes Panasonic’s Local Dimming Ultra technology. Like the Z85A, the W95A offers HDR support across various formats and includes Alexa voice commands through a button press on the remote.
