Panasonic Corporation has released its results for the year, recording a 49% year on year increase in net profit to ¥179.5 billion ($1.5 billion) from ¥120.4 billion ($1 billion) in the previous year, on turnover that was flat YoY at ¥7.7 trillion ($64.5 billion). Sales in Panasonic’s AVC Networks unit were also flat YoY, at ¥1.1 trillion ($9.2 billion).
