Panasonic has shown a 10.1″ Toughpad FZ-A2 for a while and is now shipping the product which runs Android 6.0 (including Android for work). It has a 10.1″ 1920 x 1200 resolution touchscreen with 800 cd/m² of output for daylight viewing and 10 point touch. The system runs on an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of flash (with microSD expansion). Connectivity is by Wi-Fi. There are 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel cameras. The tablet is 196 x 272 x 16.4mm in size and weighs 880gms. Battery life is quoted as 9 hours. Options include a smartcard reader, a hotswap battery and NFC as well as a capacitive pen. The warranty is three years.
