Panasonic Demos Ultra HD Capture-to-Delivery Solution

Panasonic Systems Solutions Company of North America, a provider of projection, professional display and professional video technologies, showcased a complete Ultra HD capture-to-delivery solution for the rental and staging industry at Live Design International 2018, which took place between October 19th to the 21st at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Panasonic’s AK-UC4000 camera system offers UHD video along with HDR, BT.2020 and high-speed shooting. The AW-UE150, a new pan-tilt-and-zoom camera, will offer UHD capture at 60p with a horizontal viewing angle of 75.1°, as well as 12G-SDI, HDMI, optical fibre and IP. The camera was shown with the AW-RP150, a new touchscreen camera controller.

The PT-RQ22KU 3-Chip DLP Solid Shine laser projector includes 240 Hz frame-creation and a quad pixel drive that produces 5120 × 3200-pixel, 16:10 images.

Built with sealed optics and a filter-less design, the PT-RQ22KU is capable of delivering 21,000 lumens of maximum brightness and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, together with powered lens zoom/shift functionality and a range of optional lenses. The projector can be installed using a single LAN cable or Panasonic’s Digital Link connectivity.

Additionally, Panasonic’s EQ1 series of UHD professional displays includes six new models, ranging from 43″ to 86″, with all models featuring narrow bezels, the ability to be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation and a built-in signage player.
