OLEDWorks has completed its acquisition of the the Philips OLED lighting business (OLEDWorks to Buy Parts of Philips’ OLED Light Business). The company will get the factory in Aachen, IP related to OLED lighting and a licence to use the Philips brand. Philips will sell the products through its OEM channel.
Apps have now started to appear on the Apple TV. Plex, a streaming app, is now available on the App store and the company raved about its happiness with the look of the app. Zattoo, which streams TV in six European countries has also released an app on the platform.

A Swedish contract manufacturer, Orbit One, is buying a factory in Ronneby, Sweden, from Flex. The Flex factory is very close to Orbit One’s existing facility and is said to be Flex’s last manufacturing facility in Sweden.
