Eizo will show its industrial displays at the SMM Hamburg event, from the 6th-9th September. The show focuses on the maritime and industrial markets. On display will be Eizo’s 46″ DV4624 monitor, as well as 19″ and 26″ panel mount units. It will also show a 46″ chart table and ultra-wide 37″ and 48″ displays.

Recode claims that Apple is developing a new universal EPG. The guide would work across Apple TV STBs and other devices, like iPhones. It could be used to see the content on offer from various live and streaming sources, without needed to open separate apps. Apple has not commented on the claims.
Crestron has granted Planar‘s large UltraHD displays its 4k Certification. This confirms that the UltraRes and EP series meet the demands of an UltraHD distributed system. Planar will now be able to show the Crestron 4k Certified logo on the displays.
