Mexico Welcomes Digital TV

Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), Mexico’s telecommunications regulator has revealed that the last phase of analogue TV switch-off will be completed in November. IFT says that most digital towers will start distributing digital signals by 30th September and plans are underway to distribute 100,000 digital TVs among low income families.

Nessma Offers OTT Streaming Video

Tunisian commercial TV channel, Nessma TV, launched a mobile network called Nessma Mobile. The network has taken delivery of OTT online video technology from SotalCloud to provide streamed video for over 200,000 subscribers. SotalCloud support enabled Nessma Mobile to go live with the new network in just three weeks.
