Optoma Europe has launched a new UST FullHD laser phosphor DLP projector that can produce up to 4,000 lumens of output. The projector is intended for creating images up to 100″ diagonal, from 87″ – 102″. The throw ratio is 0.25:1 Connectivity includes dual VGA and HDMI inputs as well as component and composite video. Features include RS232, RJ45 and 12V trigger and one of the VGA inputs supports loop through. Smart functions can be supported via dongles and boxes such as Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire and Apple TV.
3D is supported and the company said that the projector supports Rec. 709. There is an integrated 10W speaker and the noise level of the unit is 30dB. Power consumption is 330W.
