Optoma has just announced a new visual display technology for the company with its range of 4K UHD, Full HD and custom LED displays and compatible scaler-switchers. Visitors to the stand (1-N80) will be the first to see its new range of high brightness, high resolution, indoor LED displays.

The new range of ultra-thin, 16:9 native aspect ratio 4K UHD and Full HD LED displays blend discretely into any corporate, higher education, hospitality and digital signage environment. Optoma will also be offering custom sizes and resolutions. Easy to install, operate and maintain, they are designed for ultimate reliability and superior image quality.
The LED displays can be mounted directly onto a suitable wall without a mounting frame. Front access gives fast, low-cost installation and easy maintenance.
New Optoma Full HD LED display
At the show, Optoma will demonstrate its new 5 x 2.8 m (226” diagonal) Full HD 1080p LED display (FHD26528). Designed, supplied and supported as a single solution, Optoma LED displays include everything from cables to preconfigured processors. This ensures a hassle-free set-up for a truly seamless installation.
Visitors are invited to try out the company’s new LED scaler-switchers to see the high speed switching for themselves. Featuring HQUltra 4K image processing, they deliver best in class picture quality and low latency video processing. Inputs can be switched seamlessly in as little as 0.25 seconds.
With a leisure and hospitality theme on its stand at ISE 2018, Optoma will also showcase a raft of innovative, immersive and interactive projection solutions.
ZU1050 – new flagship DuraCore laser projector
A huge display will feature four of Optoma’s new flagship ZU1050 projectors, producing an impressive 20,000 lumens for a visually striking display. This WUXGA projector featuring MCL technology (Multi Colour Laser) forms part of the DuraCore range which combines longer-lifetime light source and an independent IP rated dust certification.
Single projector dome solution
Optoma will unveil its BX-CTADOME lens using a 3m diameter dome coupled with the Optoma DuraCore laser ZU850. This ProScene model features WUXGA resolution, bright 8200 lumens and ultimate colour performance.
Simple to set up, this cost-effective solution delivers a portable, immersive experience from a single projector with no blending required. The BX-CTADOME is guaranteed to inspire and captivate any audience.
Augmented Climbing – Interactive and innovative gaming
Visitors can see and experience the world’s first interactive gaming platform for climbing walls from Valo Motion, featuring Optoma’s 6000-lumen ZU650+ laser projector. This WUXGA model is designed for 24/7 continuous operation in challenging environments, making it suitable for applications where performance around the clock is required.
‘Le Petit Chef’ – Impressive and immersive 4K projection mapping
For the first time, this unique 4K animated 3D projection mapped show will be on view for all to encounter. Belgian based company Skullmapping and four Optoma UHZ65 laser projectors will display two different animations – transforming the dining experience, hosted by the charismatic ‘Le Petit Chef’.
Schindler elevator – digital signage solution
Optoma will showcase its ZH400UST ultra short throw DuraCore laser projector incorporated into an elevator digital signage solution created by the Schindler Group, a leading global provider of lifts.
The ultra-short throw lens provides ultimate flexibility and zero shadowing, perfect for signage applications. Powered by bright 4000 ANSI lumens and DuraCore laser technology, it delivers consistent high brightness for up to 20,000 hours of uninterrupted, low maintenance, stand out projection.
Sensoryprojection – experiential POS

High brightness laser projection and ultra short throw lens
Optoma will unveil its BX-CTA16 ultra short throw lens to allow even more flexibility for professional environments. Compatible with Optoma’s DuraCore laser projectors (ZU850 and ZU1050), the lens provides high brightness in space-constrained environments, with a throw ratio of 0.36:1.
Home cinema
Optoma will demonstrate two 4K home projectors at ISE 2018 to include its award-winning UHZ65 4K UHD laser and brand new home entertainment model, the UHD40.
With full 8.3 million on-screen pixels, Optoma’s 4K projectors meet the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) requirements for 4K UHD and comply with the CTA High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatible display standards.
