Optoma Projector is for Installation

Optoma has a new 8,000 lumens (7,500 Ansi) projector with 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution and intended for simulation, live events, museums, visitor centres and other complex installations. The ZU750 projector is based on a laser phosphor light source with a single DLP imager and is part of the DuraCore range. The engine is rated to IP5X for dust resistance and the light source is said to be maintenance free for 20,000 hours, and the projector can run 24/7 in any orientation. Ansi contrast is 250:1 while full on and off is 2,000:1.

Features for installation included multiple (6) lens options from 0.36 :1 to 5.5:1 throw ratio, integrated edge-blending and warping and HDBaseT. There is also a Dome lens option.

Inputs include dual HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, HDBaseT and 3D sync as well as RS232, a wired remote, miniUSB for service and an RJ45.

The unit weighs 17.2kg and dimensions are 484 x 509 x 185mm.
