Optoma has developed a ‘Magic Carpet’ interactive projection system with Loxit Ltd and Sensory Guru that uses a height adjustment system that can be controlled with a smartphone or tablet app and features the Optoma X320UST ultra short throw projector. It produces an image up to 3.6 metres wide.
Optoma said that more than 500 UK schools, centres and hospitals have now adopted the Magic Carpet either as a fixed ceiling installation or a portable system. It is the only NHS (UK health authority)-approved interactive floor projection system and is now on the NHS framework for Sensory Equipment.
